About organic cotton
Organic cotton has better properties than non-organic fabrics. It is highly absorbent, quick drying and resistant to bacteria and because of this it is easily cleaned and is better for your skin. Our organic cotton is also sustainably sourced, uses less water for growth and is handpicked in Turkey. Organic Cotton ensures that our fabrics are 4 to 5 times more durable than other types of fabrics and will maintain their quality through their lifetime.
Our fabrics must be pre washed and soaked before gaining their full absorbent capacity. It is normal to have some shedding during the firsts washing cycles, this will gradually disappear with its use and caring.
Caring instructions
Machine wash at 30-40 C
Do not bleach.
Do not use fabric softener.
Tumble dry at low temperatures.
Pre wash before using
Soak fabric in water for 24 hours before using. Ensure that the piece of fabric is completely submerged in water, let soak for 24 hours then hang to dry. You can also use a machine spin cycle and tumble dry over low heat.
If you notice your fabric has not reached its full absorption potential, it might be due to minerals in tap water. Add ½ cup of white vinegar to water then soak again, you can also try using warm water.
Some towels might need additional pre-washing cycles before reaching their full absorption potential.
Stain treating your fabrics
Commercial chemicals in detergents may damage your fabrics, a more natural way to stain treat them is using baking soda and vinegar. Add up to one cup of each to your washing cycle, for tough stains add one spoon of each directly over the stain mark, let sit for a while then wash.
